Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

• ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  A copy of our conditions of hire will be given to all hirers, along with the contract of hire.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Hirers will be vetted by hall management. We will not be licensed for the sale of alcohol. Hirers must be 21 or over.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  Conformity with fire and other regulations will be insisted upon by hall management.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  The hall will not be licensed for sale of alcohol. Licensable activities to cease at 23:00. There will be a notice in the foyer asking people to respect the fact that it is a residential area and be quiet as they leave late in the evening. The car park lights will be designed to avoid nuisance to residents of surrounding houses. Rubbish bins will be provided outside the hall.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  The parish council child protection policy applies to the hall.
