Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
General Objectives
All staff members are and will be fully trained and managed. Our intention is to carry out a professional business identical to our Alresford shop. Our staff are very experienced, and will continue to use their training to uphold the licensing objectives.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
Everyone will continue to prevent crime and disorder. Staff will be trained further to ensure they are continually equipped to deal with any issues.
Public Safety Objectives
Full Health and Safety training is given and updated on a rolling basis, to all staff.
Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives
Our type of business provides a very low level if at all of any public nuisance. All staff have lengthy experience and will be trained on a rolling ongoing basis.
Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
All staff will at all times be intent on protecting children from harm. Ongoing and current training skills will allow them to do this.
Conditions attached by Trading Standards
The holder of the premises licence shall ensure that every individual who appears to be under 21 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises shall produce acceptable means of photographic identification proving that individual to be 18 years of age or older - passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
All staff shall be trained to challenge every individual who appears to be under 21 years of age and to refuse service where individuals cannot produce acceptable means of identification. Such training shall be provided not less than every six months, and written records shall be kept of all training and refresher training.
A written log shall be kept of all refusals including refusals to serve alcohol, refusals of entry to the premises and ejections from the premises. The holder of the premises licence shall ensure that the refusals log is properly maintained and this shall involve, but is not limited to, nominating in writing a responsible person to check and sign it on a weekly basis.
‘Challenge 21’ posters shall be displayed in prominent positions at the premises.
