ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES
We have set up a Hall Management Committee who have agreed conditions of hire. In doing this we have taken into account all scouting objectives and ethos along with the needs of our neighbours.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
We will not be selling alcohol. Hall will be available for rental in line with hiring agreement. No booking allowed for parties between the ages of 12 to 24. Alcohol and the attendance of minors will be the responsibility of the hirer. Management Committee responsible for opening and closing hall and therefore will ensure hall is vacated on time and in orderly manner.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
Scouts operate within our own policy, organisation and rules. Management Committee have put together conditions of hire. Our Scout HQ is a new build and as such a great deal of time has gone into making it as safe as we can. We have outside lighting underground heating and separate storage for camping equipment.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES
Conditions for hire state expected behaviour. Key holders to open and close premises. Limits of music playing especially outside. No alcohol to be taken into car park. Signage asking patrons to leave quietly and beware of noise affecting neighbours. Campers to be made aware of neighbours and expected behaviour.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
Scout groups have own child protection policy and all adults are CRB checked. We will not allow any activities that may compromise these objectives. We will make hirers aware of this and of providing adequate adult supervision at all times. Will not be allowing teenage parties.
