Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  Not more than 400 persons in the Sports Hall, 400 persons in the Theatre and 120 persons in the Drama Studio shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

   

  Enclosed separately are conditions relating to the Standard Conditions that were attached to one or more of the following licences held under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, Cinemas Act 1985, Theatres Act 1968;

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  Grounds and car parks fully illuminated after dark. CCTV in some areas of the site. Various exits to the buildings.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE

   

  Hirers instructed to inform patrons to leave quietly. Hours for closing are earlier Monday - Thursday and Sunday to reduce disturbance. Music and performance to finish earlier than the sale of alcohol to reduce disturbance.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM

   

  Children who are not accompanied by an adult would not be admitted to any area where alcohol is being sold.
