ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
General Licensing Objectives
Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club will be conducted in accordance with the constitution and rules of the club. It will be managed by the committee and officers of the club who will actively promote the ethos of the club which is to welcome families and to promote sporting and social activities.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
The Club will adopt the challenge 21 scheme. Customers will be discouraged from taking bottles from the bar area. Plastic glasses will be used outside the premises institute. A regime of toilet inspection to deter the taking of drugs.
Public Safety Objectives
The committee has undertaken a full risk assessment of the premises and will continue to review this assessment to ensure personal and public safety is addressed.
Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives
Signs displayed to request consideration of neighbours when leaving the premises.
Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
If and when adult entertainment takes place notices will be displayed stating that no person under the age of 18 will be permitted to enter the area where such entertainment is being held.
No alcohol will be served to persons under the age of 18 and no person under the age of 18 will be permitted in the club unless accompanied by a person over the age of 18 after 1900hours.
Fruit machines are located in the bar area in full view of bar staff so that persons under the age of 18 can be prevented from playing them. Notices displayed warning that persons under the age of 18 must not play.
