ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES
A member of the committee is always on hand when none are actually attending the function.
Hall users are briefed on all procedures concerning safety, care and consideration of neighbours.
Start and finish times are established before the function starts.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
No equipment is left unattended in the hall for longer than necessary and never left unattended if the hall is unlocked.
Meters are emptied regularly.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
Booking form outlines the fire procedures/alarms. Familiarisation with the emergency equipment/exits ensured before the function starts.
Briefing at the time of hiring to check the type of function and further briefing at the time of the event to ensure familiarisation with the procedures.
No smoking throughout the premises.
Risk assessment is regularly reviewed.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES
No functions run beyond 2300 hours.
Nominated responsible adult.
Ongoing consultation/feedback from neighbours.
Ambient noise levels monitored.
Briefing at the time of the event.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
Nominated responsible adult.
Child protection policy.
No smoking policy throughout the premises.
