• Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  ·              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  ·              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

• Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule

   

  General objectives

  All staff are trained and are aware of the Licensing legislation, especially in relation to the prevention of underage sales. They are required to sign a register confirming that they have undertaken training and are aware of their responsibilities. Training is repeated at frequent intervals, at least bi-annually. Any person found to be in breach of the Company alcohol policy is subject to disciplinary proceedings. Notices are displayed in the premises advising of the licensing legislation.

   

  Public safety

  Fire safety equipment is provided at the premises and staff are trained on the use of this equipment.

   

  Protection of children from harm

  If anyone attempting to purchase alcohol appears to be under 25 the on duty manager is called. The manager will only accept photographic ID as proof of age (passport, photo driving licence or PASS card). If no ID is provided no sale takes place.

   

  Conditions agreed with Police

  A comprehensive digital CCTV system to be installed at the premises. All imagery must be kept for as long as the system is able (whilst ensuring the high quality images are retained) but, in any event for a minimum of 14 days. Copies must be available to the Police and Local Authority within 48 hours.

   

  Condtions agreed with Trading Standards

  1. A written log shall be kept of all refusals to sell alcohol. The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that the refusals log is checked, signed and dated on a weekly basis by the store manager/manageress. The refusals log will be kept and maintained at the premises and will be available for inspection immediately upon request by Hampshire Constabulary and any responsible authority. The record of refusals will be retained in store for six months and available immediately after this it will be removed to the Regional Distribution Centre and then retained for a further six months and copies will be made available as soon possible on request.

   

  2. Lidl Specification 'Challenge 25'  posters shall be displayed in prominent positions at the premises.
