• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Strong management controls and effective training of all staff so they are fully aware of the 4 key licensing objectives and ensure that they are fully implemented at all times.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Responsible management of the premises. Adopting best practice guide -Portman Group, N.A.H.R.S.T. and other voluntary codes of practice. Provision of security lighting and litter bins. Use proof of age scheme - photo ID only.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  Risk management assessment weekly. Full training to all staff. Regular testing and certification of all procedures, appliances and systems pertinent to safety.

   

  Prevention Of Public Nuisance Objectives

  Responsible management of the premises at all times. Training and supervision of all staff to prevent incidents of public nuisance. Regular visits to all areas of the premises both internal and external. Management of customers, staff and deliveries. Management of litter and effective ventilation systems to prevent nuisance from odour.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  Children only allowed in dining area with an adult until 2100. Proof of age scheme - photo ID only.
