ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES
No new steps have been identified by risk assessment in relation to the four licensing objectives, except as detailed below.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
Providing a thirty minute "wind down" period after the end of the time when the sale of alcohol is permitted will promote this objective as the last drink will be consumed less quickly, with access to the toilet facilities at the licensed premises. In view of the customer base, trading history and risk assessment CCTV is in place but no door staff are required.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
My risk assessment identifies no risk of crowding.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES
The sale of alcohol will not be required to be ancillary to the sale of food at any time during the opening hours. Although my risk assessment is based on the continuation of the current mix of food and alcohol sales, which has not led to any risks to the licensing objectives, no undertakings or conditions are offered in relation to this.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
The restrictions set out in the Licensing Act 2003 will apply. No unusual risks of harm to children have been identified.
