Additional Conditions

• Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Strong management controls and full training to all staff, so that they are aware of the 4 key licensing objectives.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Responsible management of the premises. Full training and supervision of staff. Adopting a house best practice guide - Portman Group, N.A.H.R.S.T. and other voluntary codes of practice. Use proof of age - Photo ID Scheme. Provision of litter bins and other security measures - Lighting, fencing, etc.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  Risk management assessment weekly and effective management at all times. Regular testing and certification of all procedures, appliances and systems pertinent to safety.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  Strict management at all times. Training and supervision to prevent any incidents of public nuisance. Regular visits to all areas of the premises. Management of people, including staff and deliveries.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  Provision of sufficient staff to secure the protection of children from harm- i.e. hot

   

  Embedded Provisions

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  Drinking up Time

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  The provision of live music between 0800-2300 is not licensable (and so any conditions relating to the provisions of live music do not apply) if:

   

  The performance is unamplified;

  The performance is amplified and takes place to an audience of no more than 200persons.

  The performance must take place when the premises are open for the supply/sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises.
