Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  Not more than 220 persons shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

   

  Enclosed separately are conditions relating to the Standard Conditions that were attached to one or more of the following licences held under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, Cinemas Act 1985, Theatres Act 1968;

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Exterior lighting will be provided after dark to ensure adequate illumination of the main entrance and car park.

  The standard conditions of hire for the premises will require that:-

  1. The hirer shall ensure that the use of the premises does not cause a nuisance to the surrounding inhabitants and in particular ensure that the minimum of noise is made on arrival and departure.

  2. The hirer shall ensure that bar staff are adequately briefed about the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 relating to the sale and consumption of alcohol.

  3. The hirer shall ensure that any misconduct is dealt with promptly and that in case of serious disturbance the police are called without delay.

  4. The hirer shall ensure that when alcohol is offered for sale children under the age of 16 years will only be admitted if accompanied by an adult.

  5. The hirer shall ensure that smoking is not permitted in any part of the building.

   

  The protection of children from harm

  The Standard Conditions of Hire of the Village Hall will require that the Hirer shall ensure that only persons who have attained the appropriated age are admitted to age restricted films.
