ANNEX 2 - CONDITONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General Objectives
Following an assessment of the premises and its surrounding area the following is proposed, 30 minutes drinking up time which will allow for orderly dispersal, use of toilets etc. Conditions to be laid down in hiring agreement.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
At all large events some stewards should be appointed to patrol outside the hall as advised by the booking clerk.
Public Safety Objectives
A health and safety policy is in place and is adhered to. All fire fighting equipment is serviced annually and there is a contract in place. First aid facilities are in place. All emergency lighting is checked monthly and recorded. Safety lighting is used where necessary.

As detailed under crime and disorder objectives.
Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
At events like the annual ball under 18's are not allowed. At other events if alcohol is available children must be accompanied by an adult. At teenage events alcohol is not available and incoming guests are asked to place any bags etc in containers marked and returned at the end of the evening. If any thing undesirable is found the parents are telephoned and asked to attend the hall. Stewards are present and staff training given. We use guidelines set out by the Police for snap discos.
