Annex2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
Prevention of crime and disorder
CCTV is installed, operated and maintained to the satisfaction of us and the chief officer of police in accordance with the requirements set out in our licensing policy.
A4 sized warning notices are displayed in public areas of the premises and at all entrances advising that CCTV is in operation. The signs located at entrances are placed on the exterior of the building at, and adjacent to, all public access doors. All signs will comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2002.
Public safety
The electrical system at the premises, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person and a satisfactory safety report obtained. A competent person will be a suitably qualified electrician who is registered with the ECA or NICEIC.
The licence holder or people authorised by them will check the premises before it opens to the public to ensure there are no risks to patrons and that all safety precautions are in place.
The licence holder will ensure that all staff receive training about emergency and general safety precautions and procedures.
The licence holder will ensure that all staff are aware of their social and legal obligations and their responsibilities regarding the sale of alcohol.
All bottles and glasses and rubbish will be removed from public areas on a regular and frequent basis.
Prevention of public nuisance
The licence holder will ensure that staff regularly patrol the premises both indoors and out to supervise the orderly conduct of patrons.
Prominent, legible notices requesting people to leave the premises and the area quietly will be displayed at all exists.
Protection of children from harm
Any restrictions on the admission of children to the premises must be displayed outside the premises.
Provision of alcohol
The provision of alcohol under this licence is restricted to outdoor cinema events only and is not permitted at drive in cinema events.
Training
The premises licence holder shall ensure that a training package is in place in order for all staff involved with the sale or supply of alcohol to be sufficiently trained in licensing matters proportionate to their role and aware of their responsibilities. Particular attention should be paid to underage sales / ID verification and the refusal of alcohol sales to a drunk person. Records shall be kept of this training, dated and signed by the staff member and trainer. Refresher training shall be completed at least every 12 months again with documented records made and to be available for inspection by Police and other responsible authorities.
A written record shall be retained at each bar to show the staff that have been authorised to sell alcohol. This shall be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities on request.
Refusals / incident books
The premises licence holder shall ensure that a refusals book / incident book or log is maintained at the premises. These records shall be retained for a minimum of 1 year and be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities upon request.
ID - Challenge 25
The premises licence holder shall ensure that a system is in place to ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises, shall produce acceptable means of identification and age confirmation. Acceptable identification shall be a passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
SIA
The premises licence holder shall ensure that a suitable number of SIA security staff are employed at the premises at any time they are broadcasting live sporting events or at any time they are open past midnight and the provision of alcohol is taking place. The number of security staff and their start/finish times must be determined by the premises licence holder based upon a risk assessment.
