ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
General Licensing Objectives
Undertaken our own risk assessment to take the following proposed steps. The types of regulated entertainment proposed materially do no more than reinstate the normal pub entertainment that was previously unregulated.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
Alcohol and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers. Staff receive training on underage sales, drug policies, operating procedures and health and safety at work. Zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs on the premises. Regular checks by management to prevent use of drugs by patrons. Local pub watch scheme in operation.
Public Safety Objectives
Comply with requirements of fire officer from time to time. Premises will have adequate safety and fire equipment maintained. Staff trained on safety evacuation, use of emergency equipment. Spillage, breakages removed immediately. Fire exits and escapes kept clear and in good order.
Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives
Patrons will be encouraged by staff to leave quietly and respect interest of occupiers of nearby premises. Noise vibration shall not emanate from premises to cause a nuisance. Local taxi numbers to be displayed at premises.
Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
No risks or harm to children have been identified. Children under age of 16 shall not be permitted onto premises unless dining with an adult or resident in guest rooms. Staff are trained to safeguard sale of alcohol to under 18's. Policies in relation to children are communicated by staff to patron and by appropriate signage.
