Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing objectives

   

  A member of the Froxfield Cricket Club Committee will be present at all times when alcohol is served to ensure good order is maintained.

  The secretary of the Cricket Club is also a member of the Village Hall Committee and is also the designated keyholder. He is likely to be present at all or part of most events at the premises. The proposed Premises Supervisor lives approximately 100 yards from the premises and will conduct regular spot checks at events when he is not present throughout the event.

   

  Protection of children from harm objectives

   

  The club has formally adopted the English Cricket Boards "Safe Hands" policy on child protection and under this has appointed a Child Welfare Officer (who has been CRB checked) to be responsible for the implementation of the relevant aspects of the policy.

  In addition, the Club rules state (Rule 11):

  "No person under 18 may be served or supplied with alcohol and no person under 18 can work behind the bar"
