• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

  ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  I am well aware of the steps needed to promote the four licensing objectives further outlined below.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  I am a hands on licensee and do not permit bad behaviour or drunkenness. I cater for the more mature members of the community and there is no history of crime and disorder at this public house and I intend to make sure it stays that way.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES             

   

  I undertake regular Risk Assessments to ensure the safety of my staff and clientele. The fire appliances are regularly checked on a contract basis. I personally check the fire alarms, smoke alarms, and emergency lighting on a regular basis.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  This public house caters for a regular and more mature member of the community and they are constantly asked when leaving the premises to respect the other members of the community and I do not permit drunkenness or loutish behaviour on or near the premises.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  Children are not permitted on the premises without being accompanied by a responsible adult who is responsible for their well being and behaviour. Children will not be allowed on the premises after 2100 hours.
