• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

  The premises are essentially a club facility for members. No general public access will be available except in conjunction with the Gliding Club core activity - flying.

  Social events will be for members and their invited guests. There will be no public advertising or publicly available tickets. The only general public access is in connection with flying activity or enquiries about flying activity

  Members club with limited public access.

  Full time staff live on the premises for security and supervision.

  Many members stay on site in static caravans for added security.
