Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

   

  Enclosed separately are conditions relating to the Standard Conditions that were attached to one or more of the following licences held under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, Cinemas Act 1985, Theatres Act 1968;

  Not more than 476 persons seated in the Main Hall and 240 persons in the foyer shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

   

  Not more than 900 persons dancing or 476 persons seated in the Main Hall and 240 persons in the foyer shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

  Annex 3

   

  General Objectives

  Bar staff and manager are all aware and comply with the licensing act 2003 statutory requirements to comply with the objectives of the act.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Whole site is covered internally and externally by CCTV. External lighting at all times. Extensive car parking. On site supervision/caretaking at all times. Good community police liaison with Waterlooville Station and local officers with regular on site visiting. Security Company with night patrols.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  Site compliance with HCC health and safety regulations and precautions which are up to date. All five notices posted and escape/egress routes clearly signed. Alarms regularly maintained. Fire extinguishers regularly maintained. Venue in good repair/order and well maintained.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  Hiring agreement gives details of noise abatements and regulations for hire. Signage displayed to ensure all steps are taken to avoid disturbance to neighbours properties. Staff instruct hirers to respect local residents when leaving functions. Only booked functions permitted with few late events. No outside area is used.

   

  Protection of children from Harm Objectives

  Persons under 18 years will only be allowed at designated functions e.g. weddings when accompanied by a responsible adult. Staff trained in the law of sale and supply of alcohol to children with only ID age proof required for sale. Signage prohibiting children from approaching the bar.
