ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Awareness of the community of the village in which the pub is situated. This is a family pub, and the intention is to run it as a family pub for the foreseeable future. The regulated entertainment proposed materially do not more than reinstate the normal pub entertainment that was previously unregulated under the old licensing system.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
Will always be a Designated Premises Supervisor on duty. Close liaison with local Police. All relevant certification, e.g. fire, health and safety etc will be in force and adhered to. Staff receive training on underage sales, drug policies, operating procedures, and health and safety at work. Regular checks by management to prevent use of drugs by patrons whilst on the premises.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
Abiding by regulations as to who can or cannot be served alcohol Training given to staff regarding fire exits and use of safety equipment. Fire exits and escapes kept clear and in good order.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES
Consideration to neighbours regarding noise. Customers leaving the premises at closing time will be encouraged to leave quietly and respect the interest of occupiers in nearby premises. No noise vibration emanating from the premises shall cause a nuisance to neighbouring properties.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
No risks of harm to children have been identified. Children only allowed in designated areas. No children's activities to be organised late in the evening.
