ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES
Following an assessment of the premises and its surrounding area the following is proposed:
30 minute "drinking up" time will allow appropriate dispersal, use of lavatories etc
In order to further the licensing objectives the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWP machines, cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed location which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes without impediment.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
The car park and garden area are fully lit and frequently checked by bar staff.
90% of customers are local and known by staff. The licensees are members of Pub Watch.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
All kitchen staff have health and hygiene certification.
The pub has risk assessments and accident book on the premises.
All staff receive COSHH training.
The pub has fire fighting equipment throughout which is contract serviced.
The building has a fire alarm.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
The pub currently has permission for 2 AWP machines but only has one on site. This is in full view of the bar for easy policing by staff. The cigarette machine is also in full view of the bar. The pub allows under 14s in the dining area away from the bar if accompanied by an adult if consuming a meal. 14 to 18 year olds are allowed in the pub before 2000 and only if accompanied by an adult. The dining area is non smoking.
The pub staff are all trained in refusal to serve process and the pub now has a refusal to serve book that logs each incident.
There is no restricted film viewing, nudity or striptease in the pub at any time.
