Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  Enclosed separately are conditions relating to the Standard Conditions that were attached to one or more of the following licences held under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, Cinemas Act 1985, Theatres Act 1968;

  THE PETERSFIELD SCHOOL

   

  Not more than 300 persons in the Assembly Hall and 500 persons in the Sports Hall shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

   

  THE DRAMA STUDIO

   

  Not more than 175 persons seated or 300 persons standing in the auditorium shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Have full intruder alarm system with panic buttons. School staff on site. Ticket sales or by full letting system which we have in place. Name of hirer address. Risk assessment etc

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Site team.CCTV. Site manager and staff on premises at all times.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  Theatre licence - ticket sales in advance so always know how many are in theatre.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  Public all off the premises by 2200. Cars parked in car parks.

  Car parking available to all in school playgrounds.

  Theatre bar only open when ticketed productions are taking place in the venue.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  All school staff are CRB checked.

   

• ANNEX 4 - DECISION FROM HEARING HELD 5TH SEPTEMBER 2008

   

  1. No performance of a play to take place outdoors after 11pm on a Saturday.

   

  2. All exterior windows and doors be closed except for access and egress after 10:00pm when live music or recorded music is being played indoors;

   

  3. No dancing outdoors after 10:00pm to take place if accompanied by live or recorded music;

   

  4. Outdoor consumption of alcohol to only be permitted before 10:00pm and to be within the red hatched area as shown on the attached plan; and

   

  5. Notices to be displayed inside the premises requesting patrons to leave the premises quietly.
