Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

• ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  At least two committee members/staff on premises during opening hours to ensure good behaviour of all persons on premises and control activities to ensure minimal impact on neighbourhood.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Supply of alcohol strictly controlled to comply with legal requirements such as under age prevention. Disorderly conduct not tolerated. Football Association rules also prohibit alcohol outside clubhouses during matches.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  All fire exits clearly marked. First Aid equipment on site. Smoke machines not permitted for discos etc. Sensible restrictions placed on numbers in the premises particularly when regulated entertainment taking place.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  Noise levels, particularly from amplified music, monitored and controlled by committee/staff. Doors and windows kept closed as much as is practical during such activities to reduce disturbance to neighbours.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  Notice adjacent to gaming machine stating under 18's cannot play machine. This rule is strictly enforced by committee/staff.

  Any specific children’s entertainment supervised by sufficient number of adults.
