Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  ANNEX 2 -

   

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  Enclosed separately are conditions relating to the Standard Conditions that were attached to one or more of the following licences held under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, Cinemas Act 1985, Theatres Act 1968;

   

                . Public Entertainments Licence

                . Theatre Licence

                . Cinema Licence             

   

  Not more than 250 persons shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  Additional training for all house managers on dealing with illegal activities & aggressive customers.

  To join Pub Watch (if scheme exists)

  Sensible drinking policy & training in place - restrictions on discounting and promotions, sale to under 18 and drunks.

  Additional training on communicating with customers when service is refused for no proof of ID.

  Additional training on communicating with customers when service is refused for drunkenness.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  External lighting of car parks and walkways.

  Additional training for all house managers on dealing with illegal activities & aggressive customers.

  Sensible drinking policy & training in place.

  Joining Pub Watch will permit the Designated Premises Supervisor to have up to the minute information on local issues & National Support, this will forge better communications with Police.

  Additional training on communicating with customers when service is refused for drunkenness.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  External lighting of car parks and walkways.

  Installation of APS (Advance Protection System) to facilitate a quicker Police response & deter crime.

  Family orientated business, which is reflected in the customer base.

  Increased supervision of trading area by management, staff & glass collector's etc.

  Sensible drinking policy & training in place.

  To join Pub Watch will facilitate the exclusion of known troublemakers thus making the pub safer.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  Noise attenuation measures.

  To join Pub watch (if scheme exists).

  No external drinking after 2300.

  Please leave quietly signs.

  Delivery & collection times not to be changed.

  Regulated entertainment (excluding recorded music) to end at 2300.

  Sensible drinking policy & training in place.

  Additional training on communicating with customers when service is refused for drunkenness.

  No external regulated entertainment.

  External background music to be turned off at 2100.

  All windows and external doors to be kept shut during live performance save for customer access and egress.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  No children to be allowed on the site after 2200.

  Minimum signage to be displayed on the AWP's.

  Audited proof of age scheme to be in place.

  Family orientated business.

  Additional training on communicating with customers when service is refused for no proof of ID.

  Children to be allowed in dining area only, unless passing from one place to another.

  ANNEX 4 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

   

  1. Late night refreshment shall only take place indoors.

  2. No external drinking is to take place after 2300 hours.

  3. All external doors and windows are to be kept shut when music is taking place except for customer access and egress.

  4. All external doors and windows are to be kept shut after 2200 hours when recorded music is taking place except for customer access and egress.

  5. Karaoke, disco and entertainments are to be treated as recorded music.

  6. All conditions attached to the public entertainments licence currently in force.
