Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  Not more than 200 persons standing, seated with tables 118 persons/seated in Theatre style 100 persons shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  No alcohol to be served to anyone who is drunk. All people visiting the hall are asked to leave quietly. All ticket sales are monitored and sold to known people only.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  The hall is fully compliant with all disability and health and safety laws. Full risk assessments carried out on all events.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  All events are fully staffed and the local Police have an office on the premises. We consider midnight to be late enough and will not impact on the close neighbours.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  The hall committee is very strict on the sale of alcohol and normally no sales take place when children are present. The exception would be internal drinks at a show or panto.
