ANNEX 2 - OPERATING SCHEDULE
General Licensing objectives
All bar staff will be trained to ensure that alcohol is not sold to persons under the age of 18, or to persons who appear to be drunk.
No-one will be admitted onto the premises to buy or consume alcohol after 23.00 hours.
The use of the premises is restricted to residents of East Tisted and Colemore, their families and friends, and other organisations approved by the village hall management committee eg. WI, probus.
East Tisted village hall will abide by all the relevant points in section 2 of East Hampshire District Council Licensing Policy.
Prevention of crime and disorder objectives
A responsible member of the management committee is present at all times during the sale and consumption of alcohol. This person will have undergone the training.
The use of the premises is restricted to the resident s of East Tisted and Colemore, their families and friends and approved organisations.
The appropriate steps will be taken to prevent the use or supply of drugs on the premises.
Public safety objectives
The premises comply with all Health and Safety regulations, as well as fire and disabled access and exits requirements.
Off road parking is provided at the rear of the premises.
Outside lighting is provided.
The capacity of the premises is limited to 100 persons.
The premises have full public liability insurance.
Prevention of public nuisance objectives
A responsible member of the management is present when the sale of alcohol or evening entertainment is taking place.
The premises is fully double glazed which reduces nuisance from noise
All doors and windows will be kept shut after 23.00 hours
A sign reminding customers to leave the premises quietly and to respect the rights of local residents will be displayed prominently near the exits.
Alcohol is not sold for consumption off the premises
At present the bar is only open on Friday nights and during events such as discos and darts matches.
Protection of children from harm objectives
During times when alcohol is being sold, children under the age of 16 are only allowed on the premises when accompanied by a parent or parent approved guardian.
Children are not allowed in the bar servery area.
There are no gaming machines on the premises.
Special attention will be given to sections 12.28 - 12.40 of the EHDC Licensing Policy to ensure the safety of children on the premises.
