• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  Maintain a professional stance. Encourage a good family atmosphere. Refuse entry to drunks or suspected trouble makers. Not serve excessive amounts of alcohol to anyone. Check ID if at all suspicious of anyone (photographic ID). Keep calm at all times to be able to handle difficult situations if they arise.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  Do not serve under 18's (check ID).

  Do not serve to people who are already drunk or appear to have already drunk a fair amount. We will not over-book.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  Do not serve people who are already drunk. We will check all equipment - fire alarms etc. Training all staff adequately. Check all appliances and equipment.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  Do not allow over-booking. Close at right time. Do not serve to under 18's. Check ID if there is any suspicion.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  Not serve to under 18's. Only allow children in when accompanied by adults. Encourage a family atmosphere.
