ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES
The premises are used for providing in the main a wedding venue for private wedding parties and the building has been approved and the regulatory fire certificate obtained from the Fire Service; regular electrical assessments will be undertaken. Staff will receive regular personal training in serving alcohol. Prominent signs will be displayed to make people attending functions aware of the new regulations.
The premises are not normally open to the general public and all functions attended will in the main be pre-booked/pre-arranged.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
Staff are and new staff will be trained to check on persons entering the premises at all times and to spot any sign of unruly behaviour likely to cause problems.
The serving of alcohol will not extend to beyond 2330. The nearest residential premises are a distance of 75 yards and no complaints have been received in the past.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
Staff are and new staff will be trained to check on persons entering the premises at all times and to spot any sign of unruly behaviour likely to cause problems.
It is intended that the premises will be in compliance with all requirements of the Local Police and Fire Authority.

THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
Staff are fully trained in all concerns and children will only be admitted to the showroom area if accompanied by an adult to a pre-arranged meeting. There will be no access to the general public and the sale of alcohol is not retailing in the traditional way.
