ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES
As a family orientated restaurant we strive to make sure our premises meet the four licensing objectives anyway. This includes counterfeit checks, training for all staff regarding serving alcohol to children etc.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
We have a counterfeit system in place so that forged bank notes are detected. Our staff are trained in checking bank notes for fake notes. All staff are fully trained in the licensing laws, in particular making sure that alcohol is served only to those over the age of 18 years.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
We have appropriate fire doors which are signed clearly so our visitors can clearly see where they would have to go in cases of emergency. We also have fire extinguishers.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES
We verbally request that our visitors leave the premises quietly in order not to disturb anyone living nearby.
We also do not have deliveries before 8am in the morning or after 10pm at night in order to prevent any noise nuisance.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
Again we re-iterate that we never serve alcohol to children and as a family restaurant we make sure children feel as welcome as possible.
