ANNEX 1 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES
We make sure that our conditions of hire cover these objectives and that all activities and those responsible understand and agree to adhere to them.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES
This is covered by clauses 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 of our Conditions of Hire. We discuss with users the purpose of their hire and satisfy ourselves that it is within the law.
PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES
This is covered by clauses 3, 7, 8,9,20 of our Conditions of Hire. We also ensure that health and safety obligations with regard to the building are met, including fire drill information, first aid provisions.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES
This is covered by clauses 3, 13 of our Conditions of Hire. We also have members of staff living in the village and have good contacts with locals and so are able to respond to any public nuisance that may arise quickly.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES
This is covered by clauses 18 and 19 of our Conditions of Hire. We have a child protection policy and are able to undertake CRB disclosures for all those working with children if necessary. If any entertainments / activities we provide are age restricted - these are enforced.
