Additional Conditions

ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

4. Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

General Licensing objectives
45 minute "drinking up time" will allow appropriate dispersal, use of lavatories etc
In order to further the licensing objectives the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWPmachines, cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed location which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes. without impediment.

Prevention of crime and disorder objectives
Illumination is provided to the exterior areas of the pub
All interior trading areas are visable to staff from behind the bar serveries
A rota system is in place for regularly checking the toilets
The licensees/staff monitor customer behaviour especially during busy periods
There is always a minimum of two staff on duty at any one time
Drug prevention measures are employed
Drivers "shelf" with selection of soft drinks available

Unaccompanied children are not permitted on the premises

ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

1. Regulated entertainment outdoors to cease at 22:00 hours (unless otherwise provided for)

2. All external doors and windows must be kept closed other than for access and egress in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech are taking place.

3. Regulated entertainment after 23.00 hours will be inaudible at any noise sensitive property outside of the boundary of the licensable area.

4.The premises must keep a written log book recording the time, date and nature of the complaints received and a not of any action taken by the premises and this should be made available for inspections by the Licensing Authority upon request.

5.The premises will issue an information sheet indicating the types of behaviour and noise levels expected to third parties hiring or using the premises and it will explain that noise levels will be monitored and that action will be taken if acceptable levels are exceeded.
