Additional Conditions

ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

4. Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

General Licensing Objectives
As the new brewery/licensed area is being constructed to plan, all care has been ensured to make the building compliant with all health and safety requirements. The brewing process is not noisy neither does it generate litter. Vapour will be vented by a flue at roof height.

Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
The retail side of the brewery will be kept secure with security lighting and with an alarm.

Public Safety Objectives
All areas within the public side of the brewery building will be compliant to regulations. Any area within the actual brewing area will be designated with a floor painted boundary.

Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives
The building is only accessible by motor vehicle. At night a security gate is closed to prevent access to the lower part of the farm where the brewery is located.

Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
Children under the age of 18 will not be accepted for brewery tours and will only be accepted into the shop with an adult. Signage will be used to indicate this. All brewery equipment and premises to be secured at night.
