• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

• ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Full and relevant staff training. Full regard to both the 1963 and 2003 Licensing Acts. Compliance with any other relevant Laws and Regulations. Keep all stock and equipment stored out of public access as this application refers to an existing licensed business moving to new premises, we will continue as per previous practices.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  We will not sell alcohol to a person who is drunk (or appears to be), or who is (or appears to be) under 18 years of age. The management practices in place include the full training of staff in these matters. Both the company Director and designated premises supervisor have personal licence, BII Level 2 certificates and experience in the On and Off trade.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  Access and egress is through the main door at the front of the building. This will either be raised, or a pedestrian door inside this roller door will be open. All equipment and stock will be properly stored. Most sales are for off consumption and will only amount to a small number each day. Local business and residents should therefore not be affected. Also this is a working farm.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  There is no public entertainment on the site, so there should be no noise problems. Drinking on the premises will be a very low proportion of sales (mainly for tasting purposes). The premises is situated in the middle of a working farm, and although the licensed hours are long, opening times will tend to be shorter (e.g. during daylight hours or office hours).

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  80% of the premises will be used for the production and storage of fruit juices and cider. As previously stated, supply to and consumption by the public will be low. Recognised identification cards will be required for 18-21 year olds (and those who appear to be).
