Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Due to its private countryside location and only supplying alcohol to pre-booked guests. Groomes staff can closely monitor consumption. The building is well lit and signage, alarms etc all meet the latest regulations. Persons under 18 will only be accompanied by an adult.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Only pre-booked guests will be served and the number of guests here will be limited. Groomes staff can thus closely monitor individual alcohol intake. The remote location will help minimise any potential of crime and disorder.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  The building is newly renovated to the highest standards and meets all the latest requirements for public access both inside and out. Where a marquee is erected this will be done by an outside company. All guests have to check in address, car registration numbers and credit card details provided.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  It is anticipated most of our guests will be couples looking to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings. Most functions will be indoors and small scale but in situations outside i.e. wedding receptions, events will finish at midnight with a quiet dispersal.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  Persons under the age of 18 will only be here accompanied by an adult in a family friendly atmosphere by appointment. No adult entertainment of any sort is provided. Laws under the Licensing Act 2003 will be strictly adhered to.
