General Licensing Objectives
We operate these premises within an established policy directed towards the mature person and implement strict rules in respect of dress and conduct. We have always adopted a policy of zero tolerance towards anti social behaviour and positively discourage irresponsible drinking created by special offers and high alcohol products. Our strategic direction is firmly targeted at customers desirous of eating and listening to music rather than simple consumption of alcohol. We consider this an adult venue and do not desire to provide services to children.
Prevention of crime and disorder objectives
Our existing policies will continue-namely
We will operate a member’s only policy from 23.00 until 01.00
We will refuse entry and /or membership to any persons with known proven criminal record of violence, drugs abuse, anti social behaviour in licensed premises or within the community generally. We impose life time bans in all instances of breaches of our rules or in cases of disturbance within the premises or the vicinity. We fully support the pub watch scheme.
Public safety objectives
Our existing policies will continue -namely
Our capacity shall continue to practice established Environmental Health and Safety Rules as existing.
We shall ensure all staff is fully trained in licensing and safety procedures.
Prevention of public nuisance objectives
Our existing policies will continue-namely
Restrictions on access after 23.00 to prevent the premises being a session venue creating excess foot traffic.
No undrer 21`s after 23.00 shall be allowed entry.
Live music ceasing at 22.45.
Monitoring of recorded music levels within good neighbour policy document.
Protection of children from harm objectives
Our existing policies shall continue - namely
The exclusion of all persons under the age of 18 other than in restaurant when accompanied by adults and even then only until 22.30
The exclusion of all persons under the age of 21 after 23.00
It is the managements opinion and policy that the venue is not suitable for children.
No more than 12 occasions per annum entertainment of an adult nature including nudity and comedy will be offered to private ticket only parties and when venue is closed for general use. Our existing policy of restricting tickets to over 21`s will be continued.
