• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

• ANNEX 2 - EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

   

   

  Enclosed separately are conditions relating to the Standard Conditions that were attached to one or more of the following licences held under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, Cinemas Act 1985, Theatres Act 1968;

                . Cinema Licence             

   

  Not more than 200 persons (Bar,Restaurant and Conservatory) shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Risk assessments are carried out on an ongoing basis ensuring health & safety and fire safety checks are covered.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Checking I.D. - Valid passport or driving licence. Toilets monitored regularly by staff - drug awareness. No bottles outside after 23:00. Patrols of external trading area after 22:00 (earlier if required). No persons permitted entry after 23:30. Zero Tolerance Policy in force. Drug awareness & contact with local police

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  All PEL requirements at present will be met - electrical testing, fire regulations and person capacities. Continuous risk assessments carried out and any defects found will be corrected as soon as possible.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  Music levels monitored and checked from outside by management. Persons causing a nuisance will be asked to leave/escorted off the premises. Any person causing a nuisance will be warned and banned and police called if it continues. Windows and internal doors will be shut when disco/live music is playing. No person outside after 11:00 pm.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  Checking ID - valid Passport or driving licence. 'No under 18's' stickers on all gaming machines. 'No under 16's' stickers on cigarette machine. No children on bar area after 22:30. Drug awareness/underage drinking/no smoking posters on all entrance doors and various prominent positions in trading areas. Staff to check ID of persons being brought a drink.

               

• ANNEX 4 - CONDITIONS BY HEALTH & SAFETY

   

  In order to reduce the risk of electrocution, all entertainers' electrical equipment, including mains powered microphones, will be protected by residual current devices (RCDs) which well be tested each time before use.

• ANNEX 5 - CONDITIONS BY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

   

  Noise from the premises shall be inaudible after 22:00 at the boundary of the residential properties. Noise from the premises includes regulated entertainment and patron noise.

• ANNEX 6 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING

   

  The variation is agreed with the exception that the sale of alcohol shall be between the hours of 10:00am - 11:30pm Monday - Thursday inclusive and Friday and Saturday 10:00 - 1:30am and Sunday 9:00am - 11:30pm.  Opening hours adjusted accordingly so that the closing times are 30 minutes after the end of alcohol sale times. 

   

• Annex 7 - Conditions attached for minor variation

   

  Environmental Protection

  Signs shall be displayed at all times in relevant places reminding patrons to respect local residents and use the outside area quietly and respectfully.

   

  Police

  Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers after 23:00.
