Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

   

  Enclosed separately are conditions relating to the Standard Conditions that were attached to one or more of the following licences held under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, Cinemas Act 1985, Theatres Act 1968;

  Not more than 200 persons (Bar,Restaurant and Conservatory) shall be permitted to be on the premises at any one time.

  ANNEX 3

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  Risk assessments have been carried out under health and safety and fire safety legislation. These have been reviewed in the light of the proposed variation.

   

  Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  Check ID - passport - driving licence (if required). No bottles outside after 2200. Staff patrol outside after 2300 (earlier if required). Drug awareness & contact with local police. No person admitted to the premises after 2300. Adopt zero tolerance.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  All PEL requirements at present will be met i.e. electrical testing, fire regulation and number capacities. All risk assessments will be carried out and implimented where required.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives

  Music levels will be monitored, staff will patrol outside after 2300. No bottles outside after 2200. No persons outside after 2300. Any person causing a nuisance wil be warned and banned and police called if it continues. Windows will be shut if live music is played.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm Objectives

  ID check - passport - driving licence by bar staff. 'No under 18' stickers on gaming machines and cigarette machines 'no under 16'. No child in bar areas after 2200. Drug awareness and staff to check ID for persons being brought a drink.
