• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

  ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General Licensing Objectives

  The White Horse operates as a community pub, with a history of a good relationship with that community. We have considered the guidance notes issued by the Council in preparing this application. A risk assessment in relation to the four Licensing Objectives has identified actions identified in the following objectives.

   

  Prevention Of Crime and Disorder Objectives

  We will provide a 30 minute extension of opening hours after the end of sale of alcohol; the last drink will therefore be consumed less quickly, and access to the pubs toilet facilities maintained.

   

  Public Safety Objectives

  No risks that are not covered by other legislation.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance

  Any entertainment will conclude at 2300 (2400 Friday & Saturday) to prevent noise nuisance. A notice will be placed near the exit requesting that customers leave quietly.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm

  Restrictions set out in the Licensing Act 2003 will apply. No unusual risks of harm to children have been identified.
