Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

  ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  Show due diligence at all times and follow the four objectives of the Licensing Act 2003.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  The premises are controlled by the licensee owner with the assistance of professional staff, and there is no history of crime and disorder.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  The premises has a full fire certificate No 21989 the smoke and fire alarms emergency lights brake glasses are inspected regularly and recorded. The premises are risk assessed regularly and have been inspected by the Health and Safety department, we have our own health and safety policy which is rigidly adhered to.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  The types of customers who use the Grange are unlikely to cause a public nuisance, but as a precaution we advise our customers to leave quietly and be mindful of our neighbours.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  Children are only permitted to use the premises for the purpose of dining or to attend bona fide functions and must be accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult over the age of 18 years, and they are not permitted to use the bar.
