Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
Prevention of crime and disorder
We always have two members of staff in the store at all times (at the very least); we have security locks & key pad fobs on all doors (at the back and from the carry out area in front); we use CCTV and have signs up confirming this; we have an alarm and advertise this. All of our staff are trained on safety procedures at induction.
Public safety
The walkways/pavements outside the front and back of the store are always swept clear and cleared of any rubbish daily. (Customers eat their food at home, so more is very little rubbish generated.) Drivers are all trained and Dominos Pizza national safety and security guidelines.
Prevention of public nuisance
Customers eat their food at home, so there are very few customers at the premises at any one time, therefore less likelihood of public nuisance arising.
Protection of children from harm
All children who come into the carry out area, in our experience are accompanied by adults who are usually buying food for the whole family. Because there is no restaurant/seating area the store is not as attractive to children.
