• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

• ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  General licensing objectives

  This restaurant understands that in extending our opening hours we have a duty to the local community and that we continue to protect our staff and customers from danger and harm. We believe that the systems we have in place are robust, thorough and will, as far as reasonably practicable, secure the promotion of the four licensing objectives.

  We are eager to work  in partnership with all responsible authorities to ensure the promotion of the four licensing objectives.

   

  Prevention of crime and disorder objective

  This restaurant is keen to work in partnership with the local police force to prevent crime and disorder.

  At this restaurant all shift running managers have safety and security training. This restaurant will maintain a CCTV system in operation on the premises while open to the public. CCTV images will be held for a period of 28 days and access to the CCTV system will be provided to Police Officers and Council Officers at their request.

   

  Public safety objective

  This restaurant has safety systems in place to protect the safety of customers and staff at all times. These systems are regularly reviewed and updated where appropriate.

  This restaurant is subject to inspections from our own safty and security teams to ensure our systems are being maintained.

  This restaurant is keen to work in partnership with the local Fire Service and Environmental Health Officer to ensure public safety.

   

  Public nuisance objective

  Patrols are conducted to collect McDonald's packaging and other litter within a certain radius of the restaurant.

  We also have measures in place to limit noise. Our doors are self closing and we try to encourage our customers to be considerate to our neighbours and limit noise both when ordering their food and on leaving the local area.

   

  Protection of children from harm objective

  McDonald's do not anticipate that children will use the restaurant in the extended hour's period covered. We do however take their safety extremely seriously and will continue to emply the same practices to ensure that they are protected from harm at all times when visiting the restaurant.

  All of our restaurant staff are required to attend comprehensive safety training.
