• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  Intoxicating liquor may be supplied on the premises only to persons who are taking table meals there and as an ancillary to that meal.

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

  ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  Annie Jones Limited undertake to all steps to adhere to the conditions of the licence.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  Staff are trained to recognise underage drinking and will not continue to serve alcohol to anyone who is intoxicated. Alcohol will not be served for consumption off the premises. Any instances of disorder will be reported immediately to the police.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  Steps will be taken to ensure that the restaurant and garden area are safe for the public.

   

  PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  Playing of recorded music is for back ground effect only and all steps will be taken to ensure that music is played at an acceptable level. Steps will also be taken to ensure that noise from both the restaurant and the garden is kept to an acceptable limit.

   

  PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  All steps must be taken to protect children from harm. The garden area is a patio garden and children will only be allowed to use the garden if accompanied by an adult.
