• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

   

  CONDITIONS

   

  1. a) Intoxicating liquor may be supplied on the premises only to persons who are taking table meals there and as an ancillary to that meal b) Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises. 2. a) There shall be afforded in the premises for persons provided with board & lodging for reward, adequate sitting accommodation in a room not used or to be used for sleeping accommodation for the service of substantial refreshment or for the supply or consumption of intoxicating liquor b) Persons residing there or their private friends, bona fide entertained by them at their own expense and for consumption by such a person or his private friend, so entertained by him either on the premises or with a meal supplied at, but to be consumed off the premises. 3. Comply with fire officer recommendations.

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  All licensing restrictions are applied. I encourage open relations with the Police and wish to provide a responsible and professional service at all times.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  57 Restaurant has 32 covers. All licensing restrictions are applied. Duty of care applied at all times.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  There are no public areas where food or alcohol are consumed. Normal regulations are applied with a duty of care.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  We operate a very responsible attitude whilst customers are present and upon leaving. All normal regulations are observed. We do not encourage alcohol abuse.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  All minors are accompanied by an adult during their stay. Normal licence restrictions apply with appropriate duty of care.
