General Licensing Objectives
The types of regulated entertainments proposed firstly re-instate normal pub and family facilities and entertainments that were previously unregulated. Then facilities for live and recorded music, dancing and voice are proposed in support of bookings, events and the core business of a public house.

Staff will be trained on the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 when they are recruited and given training in "drugs awareness" as part of their induction.
Prevention of crime and disorder objectives
Providing a 30 minute extension of opening hours after the end of the sale of alcohol, with continued sale of refreshments will promote gradual and orderly dispersal of customers
A personal licence holder or responsible person will be present on the premises whenever they are trading after 23.00 hours
The DPS will be a member of the British Institute of Inn -Keeping.
Public Safety Objective
Function bookings will be limited to 75 persons
Prevention of public nuisance objectives
Live music will end at 23.00 except on New Years Eve and New Years Day
Live or recorded music in the garden will end at or before 21.00 hours
Recorded music volume will be reduced to background level during the wind down period to create a mood change
A notice will be placed prominently at the exits asking customers to leave quietly
Kitchen extractor filters will be cleaned regularly to minimise the impact of cooking smells to neighbours
Protection of children from harm objectives
The restrictions set out in the Licensing Act 2003 will apply
Photographic proof of age will be required to be shown by anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 21 years of age.
AWP and cigarette machines will be sited in areas that are visible to staff to ensure that children do not have access to them.
Similar liability notice will be prominently displayed close to children’s play equipment.
Children under 16 will not be allowed on the premises after 21.00 hours, unless involved in a private function and accompanied by a responsible adult.
Safety on the premises and using play equipment is fully covered by other legislation.
