• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  EMBEDDED PROVISIONS

   

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

   

  Children & Young Persons Act 1933

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Licensing Act 1964

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

   

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

   

  Windows will be closed after 23.00 hours.

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  Nothing beyond the existing health and safety and safety/fire safety requirements.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  Door staff will be provided on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (and other non-standard opening days) to limit entry and to deal with disorderly behaviour. The current licensees have a good record in this regard.

  The licensees already liaise with other local licensees and other businesses to prevent disorder during licensing hours. There are two way radios available at the premises to communicate with others.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  Windows will be blocked after 11pm.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  Children are not permitted in the inside bar area at any time.
