ANNEX 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
EMBEDDED PROVISIONS
It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:
Children & Young Persons Act 1933
Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955
Licensing Act 1964
Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985
General Licensing Objectives
No additional steps have been identified as necessary by risk assessments.
Statutory controls, restrictions and penalties apply.
The local licensing policy and guidance including the guidance of the Police and Fire Authority have been considered and observed in preparing this application.
Prevention of crime and disorder objectives
Avoidance of risk already identified by risk assessment with resultant preventative measures including staff training, appraisal. Supervision and adequate presence including male security where identified as necessary; signs, proof of age (21) documentation with photograph requirement; CCTV (inside and outside monitored tapes retained 28 days minimum) Records maintained of all the above . Involvement where available in local crime avoidance partnerships.
Public safety objectives
Avoidance of risk already identified by risk assessment with resultant preventative measures particularly in relation to Health and Safety and Fire.
Prevention of public nuisance objectives
Sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises only. Litter / Refuse disposal requirements of Local Authority observed. Local conflict avoidance promoted with Crime Concern Organisation where available and availability for discussion with local residents and organisations as necessary.
Protection of children from harm objectives
Co-operation with local Police and Trading Standards Department to reduce alcohol abuse by minors and particularly the purchase of alcohol for minors by adults.
