ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
If a disc jockey is used on any night then he/she will ask customers to leave quietly.
Notices will be displayed at the exit to the premises and beer garden asking customers to leave quietly.
No person who is drunk or disorderly will be allowed access to or be allowed to remain on the premises.
No person who is the subject of court banning order or who is restricted access through a pubwatch scheme will be allowed in the premises provided the details of such person have been provided to the premises by the police.
The premises will actively participate in the local pubwatch or equivalent scheme.
SIA registered door supervisors will be used on Friday and Saturday night, as and when deemed necessary by the applicant.
Public Safety Objectives
Use of plastic bottles/glasses where appropriate for entertainment events.
Outside events will be held and contained within a structure such as a marquee.
Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives
All windows and doors (except when being used for access or egress) shall be closed after 2200 hours during regulated entertainment.
Regulated entertainment outdoors will cease at 2100 including on Bank Holidays.
There shall be a maximum of 6 occasions per year in addition to Bank Holidays for outdoor events.
Clear signs shall be placed in appropriate places reminding patrons to leave the premises quietly and repectfully.
Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
Photographic driving licences, passports or, in agreement with the police, a form of identification with the PASS hologram will be used as evidence to confirm the age of anyone who appears to be under the age of 18.
During events of an adult nature the premises shall be closed to the general public and children will be excluded from these events.
