• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  DRINKING UP TIME

   

  The restrictions on the sale or supply of alcohol do not prohibit during the first twenty minutes after the permitted hours the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

   

  PREMISES OPENING HOURS

   

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

   

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  The types of regulated entertainments proposed re-instate the normal pub entertainments that were previously unregulated. I have considered the terms of your local Licensing Policy in preparing this application.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  Providing a 30 minute extension of hours after the end of the sale of alcohol will promote this objective as the last drink will be consumed less quickly. Providing access to the pubs toilet facilities. Not less than 7 days written notice will be provided to the council and police when "event days" are planned.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  No additional steps to be taken or identified over and above those as at present.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  Live music will end 90 minutes before end of sale of alcohol to prevent possible noise nuisance and ensure that customers are encouraged to be mindful of local residents when leaving the premises.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  The restrictions set out in the Licensing Act 2003 will apply. No unusual risks of harm to children have been identified.
