Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  It is a condition of your licence that you comply with the existing provisions of the following enactments:

  Cinematograph (Safety) Regulations 1955

  Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985

  ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  Following an assessment of the premises and its surrounding area the following is proposed:

  30 minute drinking up time will allow appropriate dispersal, use of lavatories etc.

  In order to further the licensing objectives the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWP machines, cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed location which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes without impediment.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  Most customers are local. Member of Pubwatch. Exterior areas lit well.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  Illuminated emergency lighting. Fire fighting equipment available. Smoking charter in force. Health and hygiene certificate held. Fire alarm installed.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  Fabric of the building retains sound. Managed customer departure. No adjoining residents. Lockable/closed windows. Outside areas to be closed and vacated by 2330 hours. Regulated entertainment to be inaudible at noise sensitive properties after 2300 hours. All external windows and doors to remain closed during regulated entertainment except for access/egress.

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  No unaccompanied children. Designated area away from cigarette and gaming machines. No smoking area available. Children off the premises by 2100. No striptease, nudity or restricted film exhibition.
