ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
General Licensing Objectives
Co-operation with all authorities concerned. Staff training and awareness. Provision of refreshments until 11.00hrs. Control and monitoring of possible noise pollution. Risk assessment. Health and safety company policy in force. Co-operation with neighbouring community. Strict identity checks to prevent underage drinking. Strategic measures in force to tackle the misuse of alcohol, drunkenness and disorderly behaviour on the premises. Tackle the use of drugs on the premises.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
Co-operation with the police. Members of Pub watch association. Staff training and awareness. Strict identity checks, drugs use searches. Promoting sensible drinking. Not allowing drunkenness and disorderly behaviour on the premises. Securing premises end of day procedure. Lighting to the front shop premises and rear patio garden. Reporting all suspected criminal behaviour. Assisting with taxi home. Collecting glasses and bottles.
Public Safety Objectives
Risk assessments and fire health and safety policy in force. Staff training and awareness. Co-operation with all authorities concerned. Lighting to front and rear of premises. Recent fire safety improvements made by recommendation of fire officer. Portable appliance test certificate. First aid box and accident book. Staff notices for emergency evacuation.
Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives
Co-operation with all authorities concerned including local neighbouring community, for possible noise pollution. Requesting customers leave premises in an orderly fashion, calmly and quietly. Management control of music sound level. Keeping front door closed from 10.00pm midweek and 9.30pm weekend nights.
Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
Very strict identity checks for under 18 years via approved ID pass, passport and or driving licence. All children under 18 years to be accompanied by an adult dining only. Staff training and awareness company policy in force.
