ANNEX 2 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES
General Licensing Objectives
Co-operation with all authorities concerned. Staff training and awareness. Provision of refreshments until 2330hrs. Control and monitoring of noise pollution. Risk assessment. Health and safety company policy in force. Co-operation with neighbouring community. Strict identity checks to prevent underage drinking. Strategic measures in force to tackle the misuse of alcohol and drugs drunkenness and disorderly behaviour on the premises. CCTV system installed. Security doorman on Friday and Saturday evenings. Members of Pub Watch association.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder Objectives
Co-operation with the police. Members of Pub watch association. Staff training and awareness. Strict identity checks and preventative measures in force to control the use of drugs on the premises. Promoting sensible drinking. Controlling drunken and disorderly behaviour on the premises. Securing premises end of day procedure. External lighting to front shop and rear patio garden. Reporting all suspected criminal behaviour. Assisting with taxi home. Collecting bottles and glasses which may have been left outside premises and removing any glasses or bottles which the customer may have taken while leaving the premises. Recorded CCTV throughout the premises. Security doorman on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Public Safety Objectives
Risk assessments and fire health and safety company policy in force. Co-operation with all authorities concerned. Lighting to front and rear of premises. Staff safety notices, first aid box and accident book. Appliance test certificates. Recorded CCTV throughout premises.
Prevention of Public Nuisance Objectives
Co-operation with all authorities concerned and neighbouring community. Customers are requested to leave the premises in a calm and orderly fashion. Security doorman on Friday and Saturday evenings from 2200 hours. Measures in force for the prevention of possible noise pollution emanating from the premises during our amplified live music events i.e installation of fire proof removable and flexible acoustic curtaining to internal front shop windows. The amplifier used for live music is sited to the rear of premises, inaudible at the boundary of the nearest residential premises. All speakers used for the playing of recorded music are fixed and generally back ground sound only inaudiable at the boundary of the nearest residential premises. All external doors and windows are closed during our events involving amplified live music indoors other than for access and egree. Live music outdoors in rear enclosed patio garden during summer months will finish at the very latest 1900 hours where we will hold a maximum of two chilled acoustic set only events per month.
Protection of Children from Harm Objectives
Very strict identity checks via approved ID pass, passport and or driving licence. All children under 18 years to be accompanied by an adult dining only. Staff training and awareness. All children accompanied by an adult under the age of 18 years to vacate the premises by 1800hrs. Children will not be on the premises during the showing of films.
